The SCA in
Socorro, NM.....Devices of
the Kingdom of the Outlands, the SCA, and the College of St. Golias

I play in the Society for Creative Anachronism, a worldwide organization that attempts to create the Middle Ages, defined as before 1600 AD. Specifically, I play an Irishman named Flainn Raighne (which, translated from the Gaelic, means "Red-haired and short, but strong"). My local group is called the College of St. Golias, an independent group which has been a presence at New Mexico Tech for over 25 years. The College of St. Golias is not a shire or a barony, and as such we report only to the Kingdom of the Outlands itself, not any local baron.
